Frailty

ALSO CHECK OUT - How I Murdered Myself

I saw this film a long time ago, and it has stuck with me ever since. One thing that I remember is it has a huge twist in the end! Humongous, gigantic, immense, that knocked me out cold. Didn't see that one coming.

This is a dark, dark film. Not for the frail at heart.

The story - one dark moonless night in a farm in Texas, a
father (Bill Paxton, also the director, creepy, superb) comes to his young kids and tells them to follow him. He takes them to a barn where they see a person tied up. The father tells his kids that the man is pure evil and needs to be killed. He further adds that he is the hand of God and gets a list of people who he has to kill as per the instructions of the almighty. So he's doing nothing wrong, just doing His good work. And he invites the two kids to join him on the killing spree.

Years later one of the kids, now all grown up into an
extremely good looking Matthew McConaughey, goes to confess about the family crimes to the FBI, telling them in detail how he, his brother and his father went on a killing spree. The film is told in flashbacks and their are twist/s in the end, which I have already told you knocked me out cold.

So if you're in the more for something dark, sinister, creepy and extremely twisted, check this one out. It'll grab you from get go and not let go.

Gripping, edge of the seat stuff.
