Run Fatboy Run

ALSO CHECK OUT - How I Murdered Myself

Let me tell you a little known fact of life... If there's Simon Pegg in a movie, it is bound to be nice. And remember you heard it from me first.

He left his pregnant wife standing at the altar and ran away in sheer panic.

Now, five years later, he wants her back but the problem is she has started seeing this successful smart, good looking guy who is miles ahead of him in comparison. And that guy is running the marathon. So he has to compete and complete this race to prove his worth to the woman he still loves and to his little son, and to wipe the smirk of the wife's boyfriend's handsome face.

His running away created the problem, now his running the marathon again will solve it as well. But the problem is he is in no condition to run having put on a few pounds over the years. So he has to train to run again. And it's going to be funny.

This is the story of how a fatboy runs to get the love of his life back. It's a Simon Pegg show all the way and I really wonder how he agrees to make fun of himself on screen. Very few actors will have the confidence and the comfort level to appear like he does on screen. Surely, Simon is super confident and doesn't care what people think of him. He is in a league of his own. No comparison.

This is a film directed by David Schwimmer of Friends' fame. Once again goes to show that these actors are sometimes good directors as well, like Frailty and Rudderless.

Watch this film, it’s entertaining, and has a wonderful, feel good climax.
