Defending Jacob

ALSO CHECK OUT - How I Murdered Myself

This is truly an unputdownable book. It's fast paced, and has a theme, a concept, a story that everybody will connect with.

A young boy is found killed in a park one early morning. The news reaches the assistant district attorney Andy Barber who takes the case not ever imagining in his wildest dreams what was in store for him and his family. Because as the case progresses, the prime suspect of the murder is his own son!

Soon everyone turns against his family, friends become foes, and no one is standing by Andy and his son. He's even removed from his job and a lengthy court case begins.

And as the investigations continue Andy finds out strange things about his own son. That he's considered creepy and weird, and may have the 'murder gene' like his grandfather and great grandfather, that he was bullied by the murdered kid, that he writes torture stories, and much, much more!

Andy realizes that there is something seriously wrong with his son, but still, he has to defend him, after all the kid is HIS son.

Defending Jacob is a must read, for the court room drama, for the emotional depth, and because it is a pure thriller in the league of Gone Girl, and The Girl On The Train, only it's slightly better than them.
